popcorn monster..

It's so cold out today
So this is my first blog ever...I think it's gonna be fun & hopefully I'll get some readers here and there. Let's see...I usually go to the gym before work which means waking up at 6AM and getting there around 6:40...but for some strange reason my alarm clock just didn't go off today! I have this really cool chime alarm clock and everyone always asks how on earth I can wake up to a chime...but I promise its really peaceful and a great way to wake up...instead of the loud BEEP BEEP BEEP that causes you to go into mini panic attack every morning. Anyways I ended up sleeping until about 8AM and just came to the realization that I'd have to go to the gym after work which is cool because I didn't have to coach tonight anyway. I wasn't too hungry this morning so I had a pumpkin muffin (all you do is combine a 15 oz can of pumpkin with a box of spice cake and they're super low cal muffins...like 1 weight watcher point each!) before getting dressed. After I got dressed I made myself 3 egg beaters with a weight watchers cheese melted in and an Arnolds 100 cal round. Of course I slathered my eggs in salsa because my life would just not be complete without salsa or spicy food. And I also had a glass of 8th Continent Light Vanilla soy milk. I stopped at Starbucks on the way to work and got a Venti half decaf/half regular coffee of course using my gift card from xmas. Before I left for work I popped a chocolate cranberry cluster in my mouth and packed a green apple and a Kashi Trail Mix bar in my bag for just in case purposes. Work was pretty slow today so I came home for a quick lunch....wasn't even that hungry! I made myself a protein shake with 3/4 vanilla soy milk, a medium banana, and Aria Womens Vanilla protein powder, also had another pumpkin muffin (SO addicting). Around 3PM I had the Kashi Bar just to tide me over until dinner. I went to the gym after work and ran about 3.25 miles in 30 minutes, lifted some upper body, did 15 minutes on the Elliptical and then did some abs. The gym is always SO packed after work so I definitely like going in the morning better. When I got home dinner was cooking but I really didn't feel like the pork Deej (my mom) was cooking so I threw some frozen grilled chicken strips in the microwave and put them on top of a salad along with some veggies stir fryed in Ginger dressing...yum :) After that I had some of the jello I made yesterday which was delish because I made it with half water half seltzer which gave it a good zing and put some cool whip on top. I am indeed a popcorn monster. Especially since I got an air popcorn popper..I'm SO addicted to it...I had 2 small bowls of air popped popcorn with a cinnamon/splenda mix I made sprinkled on top. Its amazing. End of story. Definitely have to hit the gym tomorrow morning because I have practice tomorrow night right after work..

Welp since this is my first blog...I'll definitely start taking some pictures and posting them tomorrow. This is fun! Although it kind of feels like you're talking to yourself...
