I'm sorry I've been so MIA this weekend but let me tell you it was a crazy weekend! I won't bore you with the details of every single thing I put into my mouth this weekend but I will definitely give you the highlights.

Saturday I woke up early to hit up my first Zumba class and snacked on a banana before I hit the gym. Zumba wellll let's just say it's definitely not for me. My friend I went with loved it and she got all sweaty and worked out ish and stuff but I just didn't and I kept bumping into people and I couldn't get all the "moves." I mean granted the 45 minutes did go by really fast and there were some portions of the dance where I was feelin it and gettin my groove on but I don't think I'll be playing the Zumba game that much more sadly. But if you hate the treadie and the elliptical and you love to dance then I most definitely reccomend it. I think I would have been much better at Zumba if I was down a few glasses of wine :) After Zumba I did about 10 minutes on the Elliptical to warm myself back up and then hit up the weights for about a half hour to do some upperbody before Bikram.

The Apple Cin flavor was so good :) And I love all things with the words apple and cinnamon in the title and since I was freakin hangry after my morning workout and I scarfed this down on the car ride to Bik. Bik was really good and my friend who I went with even treated me! Thanks Laur! It's been a while since I did it and I was definitely feelin it. The room wasn't as hot as it had been in the past but I still had a good sweat going on. And I think Lauren liked it too!
When I got home I was totally beat. And still had Irish Day ahead of me with the thoughts of grad school and the GREs in the back of my head I was feeling kind of stressed. I was craving all things green and smooth when I got home so I made a Green Monster.
1cup Vanilla Soy Milk, 1 very ripe Banana, 2 splendas, 2 big handfuls of Spinach & ice :)
On the side I also had 2 pieces of Arnolds 40 cal bread toasted. One had a spoonful of Better N Peanut Butter with a tad of TJs Pumpkin Butter & the other slice had a spoonful of Naturally More Peanut Butter.

Pros: I really loved the consistancy of it, it's very creamy and peanut buttery. I'm really used to Better N Peanut Butter which has less of an actual peanut taste. But if you love the flavor and the peanuty ness of PB then you would definitely love this. It's also great because it has a decent amount of protein at a whopping 10g and is made with both types Omega 3 and Omega 6 fats!
Cons: I've never really been a major Peanut Butter person until Better N Peanut Butter came along, so this reminds me of why I may not have liked peanut butter for a while. It's verrry peanuty and it says you have to refriderate it after opening but when I used it this morning it kind of lost its creaminess.
All in all I would definitely say give it a try!
Irish Day on Saturday was so crazy busy that it got to the point where it wasn't even fun! It was like a giant smushed frat party and if you already weren't wasted there was no way you were having a good time. And I was extremely stressed about grad school and the GREs so after about 1 hour and a half I went home. Plus at that point I was just feeling crazy exhausted and a little dehydrated from Bikram. Deej made fajitas for dinner that night and I put my chicken onions and peppers on a bed of salad :) It was delish!
After that I attempted to make macaroons and had a MAJOR FAIL with them! I can't figure out how to make them right because when I used wax paper they stay fluffy but stick to the paper and when I use a pan with non stick spray the spread out and get all funky hence the crazy look macaroonies that are hanging out on this pan. But just because they look crazy doesn't mean they taste crazy. They somehow managed to fit themselves into every meal I consumed for the rest of the weekend..
I woke up on Sunday to head out to my sister's volleyball tournament and made a Green Monster for the road with the same ingreeds as usual. Also grabbed a macaroon. Throughout the day I ate this most lovingly delicious Luna bar.
Pros: I loveeeeeed this bar! So much :) Definitely liked it better then the Gnu Oatmeal Raisin bar. It has this thin layer of Vanilla icing on the bottom and like an exact nutritionally amazingly tasting Oatmeal Cookie on top. I'm pretty sure its way to delicious to be "good" for you..
Cons: The fact that it ended!
For dinner last night we hit up the Grand Luxe Cafe on the way home from the tournament. I forgot my camera at home but really enjoyed Edamame to start with and the Polynesian Salad with no macademia nuts and the dressing on the side. I also took off the chips that were in there. If you ever go there gettttt thattt :). When I came home I snacked on some jello and a pear sprinkled with cinnamon and hit the hay :)

For the first half hour I did Tina from Carrots N Cake 30 minute Treadmill workout at a 1% incline with intervals of 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0 and then for the last 15 minutes I did no incline with intervals of 6.5, 7.0, and 7.5. Then I did some upperbody lifting which I won't go into detail for the sake that this post is getting super long and you guys are probably just like get to the free stuff alreadyyyyy haha.
1/2c overnight oats with 1/2 water, 1/4c Light Vanilla soy, cinnamon, 2 tbsp pumpkin, 2 splenda. On top with a spoonful of Better N Peanut Butter, cinnamon, 2 macaroons crumbled and a tiny spoonful of Naturally More PB
