That's right, ya hurrrrd it's Get Chur Fridge On Day.
now. since I reap the benefits of living at home, not everything in my fridge is consumed by me. We of course have the werewolf of my younger brother home now who likes his daily dosage of string cheese, OJ & Doritos, and Van (Dad) who hearts his flavored coffee sweetner. Jenna (sis) needs to drink her Iced Tea daily and Deej hearts her tupperwares full of chicken salad. we all love being healthy (except the werewolf) so you really won't find anything in there tooo bad. ...hence why I didn't photograph the freezer. van, deej & jenna both enjoy their nightly ice cream festivities.
I hate working out on a full stomach but I was feeling pretty hungry and didn't want to weaksauce out mid workout sesh so I decided this ought to hold me over through a good workout. I am seriously lovin Gina's workouts and I love being introduced to all new types of weight lifting workouts and moves. thanks Gina!
can we say new early morning gym crush. hellz yeah.
When I came home Deej wanted to go for a good walk down at the local boardwalk. I was totally down for it because hellloo it's b.e.a.youuutiful out & I didn't have any clients today only work to do at the nonprofit. She ALSO wanted to dabble with the original boyf. uhhh oh.
tryin to move in on my man. that's Deej's on the left..
She comes inside after taking a few sips and in her crazy Long Island voice goes "Oh.my.gawd. that is to diee faw. You are going to have to share the recipe." I'm like "Deej. banana, milk, spinach. blend." she goes: "oh."
The beach was gorgeous and we had a nice hour walk along the boardwalk. The joint was hopppinnn. Everyone and their mother were out running, walking, bike riding or just reading books and smoking...yes that's right. When we got in the car I was feeling a few hunger pangs so I ate halfsies of this because I didn't want to ruin my lunch appetite but we had to run a few errands first.
Kardea Chai Spice bar: this bar was okay. I still really liked the banana walnut bar better. But it definitely did the trick. It did feel a little greasy but for the nutritionals I'll take it. The flavor was spot on to what I figured it would taste like SO if you're into the chai spice thang then definitely hit this bar up!
Errands were run and by the time I got home I was ready to be a Salad Mozart. And I composed this baby.
biiiiiiiiiiig arss bowl of greens with lots o veggies, some baked tofu, Wildwood Indian Spice and Original hummus, LCS and some Santa Barbara's Mango salsa
I'm sad my Indian Spice is all gone. SO to help me cope I ate a giant brownie.
just kidding. it's a double chocolate vitatoppp. what's my feeling on them you ask? Well I'm not too much of a chocolate fan. yes I'm a girl. But I didn't love this. It felt and tasted kind of chalky. I think I'm more into the Banana Nut breakfasty type muffins. SO I probably wouldn't have this again. Well maybe I would but I wouldn't be sad if Deej creeped on them.
I did in fact enjoy this baby for a dinner dessert last night..
appleberrry vitatop! consensus? eh. Banana Nut still comes numero uno in my heart. I actually didn't really like the taste of this AT ALL. So to make it better I put a buttload of Peanut Butter on it. all better!
the good midday snack
anyways I have NO idea what to eat for dinnah. I'm all awone! Any good idears? I'm pretty hangriz right now so it's a good chance I'll eat my shoe before anything else.
