So in that case we'll start first with the Kernel Season's review...
A few weeks ago Mai from Kernel Seasonings offered to send me some samples of their fabulous popcorn seasonings. He ALSO allowed me to host an awesome giveaway FOR Kernel Season's which included a pretty sweet surprise giftbag chocked full of sweet products honoring Kernel Season's. So you all know this popcorn lovin girl had to capitalize on that. Welp it took me a while to get this review out because I've been so busy at night PLUS the package came go figure the day that the After Dinner Challenge started. FML.
Kernel Season's Review:
Kernel Season's began with a young college student (Brian) who loved his popcorn and was always looking for a way to spice it up back in the college popcorn slash make everything and your mother in the microwave days... sounds like my kind of man..
The popcorn seasonings come in 14 different flavors ranging from kettle corn to bbq to even chocolate marshmellow! AND you don't even have to ONLY use them for popcorn! Go ahead and sprinkle them on everything and anything!
Now to be honest with you I haven't gotten a chance to try EVERY one of them. BUT the one's that I have sampled I have absolutely adored. Chocolate Marshmellow, Sour Cream & Onion and Parm & Garlic DEFINITELY top my list. With Caramel and Apple Cin not coming in too far behind them. Just today in fact I capitalized on the chance and made a "to-go" bag o popcorn for the road and sprinkled a buttload of Parmesean & Garlic on the popcorn. The thing I find the hardest is finding a way to get the seasonings to stick to the popcorn. I've tried everything from Spray Butter to nonstick spray but I always seem to find a good amount of seasoning at the bottom of the bowl or bag. Not complaining because these seasonings are the perfect way to spice up your popcorn.
Its even fun to mix and match the seasonings. Like when I was bored one day I made "Caramel Apple Cinnamon popcorn" AKA make your airpopped popcorn and sprinkle some Apple Cin and Caramel on at the same time :) Yeahh I know I'm a recipe genius...
So all in all head over to their website, check out all their cool flavors, throw them in your shopping cart, press buy AND enjoy your free recipe book that comes with every order :)
yerrrrr...
okay so yeah this is a pretty late post but it's been a hectic day! I started off the day by waking up at 5am and hit up the gym for a nice run. I got in 10 m
iles in an hour and 20 minutes (at 9.75 miles my ipod died.) and then ran home got all cleaned up and
bounced over to LR for my first day of clients :) It went SO well! I seriously loved giving these women advice and they actually acted like they thoug
ht I knew what I was talking about. I was like oh my god they're listening to me... SO that being said it was definitely a successful first day. Then I ho
t footed it over to the non profit, pounded out payroll, ran home to pick up my newly fixed car (that btws DID NOT get charged for) packed up my stuff for the tournament tomorrow and then spent FOREVER AND EVER in the car driving upstate to Bard College (aka 10 min
utes from Woodstock). And now I'm sitting in the local swine infested I mean Quality Inn with some free Wi-Fi and an episode of What Not To Wear. I guess I'm cool with it because it sure as heck beats leaving my house at 5AM tomorrow to drive 2.5 hours. Instead that's what my little kiddies are doing.
Here's some of today's eats..
Well I'm glad you took the time to read this and understand that I'm bored as all hell sitting in this hotel room while Deej plays with her new handbag and Jenna reads about vampires. Wish us luck in our tournament tomorrow and I'll be back to check in with you all at some point tomorrow :)
peace peace.
