Carbo Lock And Loader


hey y'alllll :) for real you have been OVER generous with your support and advice regarding my limp leg. After reading all of your comments I (a) wanted to cry because you're so sweet and (b) am leaning towards the IT band injury. I checked out webmd.com, wikipedia & runners world and it seems that I have 90% of the symptons that they described and it probably came on from my sudden increase in distance as well as being on the treadmill for long periods of time. basically fml. I need to rest it. And I should see a doctor to get an offish doc's opinion so I will definitely be getting on that. You all provided such support and inspiration and I knew I could count on you for such smartness! thank you thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU. love you all :)



now onto the good stuff. fooooooooooood. oh and my day of course!



I started off the morning right with a good old workout don't worry it was elliptical friendly AND pain free.

todaaa's workout: (gina's shape up day 2)

15 minutes on Elliptical steady pace at resistance 5


30 minutes Elliptical Hill Workout.

It was actually a good workout :) I was pain free most of the time and I just really love weight lifting. It felt really good to leave the gym with no pain!



When I came home I assembled the perfect parfait.



blueberry Chobs, 1/2 a bananer, & some HiLo Vanilla Almond cereal (review to come)

"I'm getting even with you for this, Wonka, if it's the last thing I ever do! I've got a blueberry for a daughter..."





I hung with the clients and then by the time I came home I was beastly hungry.

100 cal Sabra's hummus
salssaaaaa
Lightlife Pepperonis
& two slices of Arnold's toast for scoopage purposes

I then proceeded to run every errand under the sun in the matter of two hours. Yes I should get daughter of the year award but it involved my favoritest of activities. hellloooooo food shopping! I hit up TJs and BJs hahahaha it rhymes. Got great foods and came home to have to run back to work.

I didn't really have time for a substantial meal today for dinner so it was pretty much a cereal carb fest x2.

flight attendant: julie you're gonna be mad at me this week

julie: why ___ what's up

fa: i flew to tampa this week and had chipotle

me: okay..

fa: i had it for lunch AND dinner.

me: dang ___ who the heck wanted to go to chipotle twice in one day

fa: the pilot..

me: ooooh the pilot

fa: don't worry i worked the chipotle off

me: oh did you?

fa: yeaaaah we worked it off ;) ..... for hours.

thank you for that.



when I got home for work (I lost my appetite ha ha just kidding) but I wanted to get some form of protein or food other then carbs in my tummy. SO i had one of these babies with some cinnamon and a little TJs fiber cereal.

I'm glad you're figuring out the injury. I know it's hard, but rest is important. It's good you had a pain-free workout, though!

That parfait looks amazing! YUM! I'm totally craving a bfast parfait tomorrow (err..later today. yeesh i should go to bed!)

Good news is that if it's an IT band injury they can go away. I tried everything and finally discovered that yoga does the trick for me! :o)

Glad you had a good and pain-free workout! My IT bothered me for a while when I was running a lot of hills, but it's doing much better now.
If you go to a doctor, try to see a sports medicine doctor. I've had some really frustrating experiences with reg docs who don't understand athletes.

sorry about the leg...at least you got in a decent workout...haha, that flight attendant is too funny. i thought she wasnt going to see him until later though, when shed been through your intensive burn baby burn spell...ah well, guess hes into her now regardless?!
