We Be Jammin

This post is all about gyms & jams.
9PM Friday night: 9am & 9:30am Saturday clients cancel. Make decision to go to 8:30am spin class.
12:30PM Friday night: come home 1 Michelob Ultra down. Set alarm clock for 7:10AM.
6AM Saturday morning: wake up to use the ladies room, look at clock feel dissapointed I have 10 more minutes to sleep
6:37AM Saturday morning: FLY out of bed in a huge rush thinking I'm going to be late for the spin class and wonder why the heck my alarm never went off. Proceed to get ready in a rush, pack a breakfast for after spin class and feel unsettled that my alarm never went off.
7:09AM Saturday morning: about to head out the door for spin when I hear my alarm go off.
7:10AM Saturday morning: double check clock. FML it's only 7 and the spin class is at 8:30.

This is how I started my morning. FAIL. After the huge wake up fail I took a deep breathe and decided it would be a good time to have some sort of breakfast. Being that I have an hour until I should leave for spin. It took me a while to decide what to eat that wouldn't make me feel sick during spin and ultimately I decided on the peanut butter english muffin that I had packed for after spin.

minus the half of apple.

About an hour later I head out for class with everything prepared to head over from one gym to my work gym.
8:30AM Saturday morning: spin kicks the crap out of me. fo sho.

9:30AM Saturday morning: spin is over and I feel like I got hit by an 18 wheeler head on.
I proceed to inhale my after gym snack I packed.

And stop at 7-11 on the way to work for some much needed caffiene. grande columbian style.

due to my EXTRA LARGE sized coffee intake this morning I'm sad to report that Columbia has run out of coffee beans. it's my fault.
After spending ALL morning at 2 types of gyms and never quite regaining consciousness from the mornings FAIL factor I came home hungriz and consumed the only thing my brain could process.

hey if it ain't broke...

green monster + banana nut cheerios/a few sugar cubes = easiest thing ever to consume.

My green monster was gawjass.

1 cup USVAB, 1 very brown banana, 2 larger then life handfuls of spinach, 2 scoops TJs Vanilla pro powder, 1 TBSP Better N Peanut Butter, liquid Stevia, a few drops of NuNaturals liquid Vanilla, 1 tsp Flaxseed, LOTS of ice. and a bit of leakage from the Magic Bullet.

note to self: do not operate heavy machinery after a morning wakeup FAIL. your Magic Bullet may or may not leak half your lunch out...

I'm off to a friends birthday barbeque! but wait.

not before we jam..

not that kind of jam...

OR that kind of jam..

  10. Hey Julie!
I don't think your morning was a fail at all! At least you went to the gym and better early than late! I think you did fantastic! Plus you got a great workout in! Your green monster looks very bright green and beautiful in that picture!
I was wondering, why don't you workout @ your work gym? Is it too awkward and you like a place that ppl will just leave you alone and you can be yourself? I am ANAL about my gym. I have 'my' machine, my 'fan' and I'm comfortable there! Have a GREAT weekend! What do you have planned for tomorrow? Have you found those squashes yet?
