I put the cow to good quality use this morning.

Did you think you would see protein oats again..

you. were. wrong.

This may look oogly..

but. it. was. good.

I bring you GREEKIN YOATS.

how to:
  • 1/2c Country Choice Organic, 1/4c canned pumpkin, LOTS of cinnamon, stevia & p pie spice, & 1/2c water. nuke this baby up for 2 1/2 minutes
  • chop up an apple and mix half into your oats after they've been nuked to perfection.
  • put the bowl back in the microwave for 30 seconds
  • take out mix around and then pour your greek yogurt of choice into the oats
  • top off with remainder of apple
  • put a dollop of PB on top
  • mix around until it looks all grossie josie
  • and relish in the incredible bfast that you're about to inhale.

enough about me.
well a little more about me.

I'm taking a little mini vacation for the next few days (Fri-Sat night), actually it's just a mini roadtrip with Deej to catch my sister's volleyball tournament. Nothin like a good ole road trip right?

  2. Oh Sn-AP! Such a good month for candy - or anything from TJ's! Have a great road trip!

My absolute best costume of all time - okay, well there were two but if I had to pick - I went as Linda Richmond for Halloween my sophomore year in high school. You know, Coffee Talk, from SNL. Mike Meyers' mother in law? With the fake nails, big hair, bad sweaters, and the bad Long Island accent? I ROCKED that shiz.

Rhode Island is neitha' a Rhode nor an Island. Discuss!

  3. i love CAT outfit. the reason for this is because it was my FIRST costume that I made myself!

  4. i've never gotten more creative than the cat costume idea - i just can never think of anything! ~gretchen

  5. I think my best costume would be the year I dressed up as a pregnant lady. I was in college and rocked out the spandex with towels duct taped around my waist and socks in my bra. Sounds bad, but I swear it looked real. We went to this huge party and people were like, uh, I don't think you should be drinking.

    ReplyDelete
  6. me and my sister and a more petite friend (i'm a twin, me and my twin sister) dressed up as...AN OREO. me and my sister wore all black, friend wore all white. =D

    ReplyDelete
  7. We did a double dare thing too - we had two teams and throughout the night we had physical challenges (who can run to the next party and chug a beer the fastest!). Times have changed!

  8. I havent been too creative with the costumes since I am older but when I was younger I went as a Dominos pizza box one year. It was pretty freakin funny. I had cardboard infront and back that I spray painted. Even funnier was I was probably a little too old to be dressing up and ended up with shaving cream all over the box!

  9. best costume? hmm...I was a jack in a box one year. I guess that's sorta lame, though, hehee. My fave costume was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.:-)

  10. Fun contest idea! My favorite costume was a joint effort - my friend and I dressed as the Doublemint Twins. We found short GREEN plaid skirts, these awf sweaters and had matching accessories. The night of the costume party we decided to add faux eyelashes which seemed like a great idea, but made us look more drag-queen esque! It was a fun night.

  14. I think my best costume was when I was GI Joe in pre-kindergarden. I was such a tomboy and I couldn't understand why my parents wouldn't let me take my brother's fake gun to school with me as part of my outfit. Gotta love being five. :)

I was also a recycling bin one year...that was fun. And the world! That was an awesome one. Thanks mom for all the sewing!

  15. peanutbutter&jelly. hands down best ever. Get a partner and do it up. So fun!

I am also seriously jealous of your greek yogurt right now. Enjoy some for me girl

    ReplyDelete
  16. I had lots of great costumes because my mom made them all. My favorite was a Wilma Flinstone costume. My mom even made a huge pearl necklace and I sprayed my hair orange.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Haha, I didn't have any super awesome costumes. The most fitting one was when I dressed up as a jockey. I was horse OBSESSED when I was younger, and I actually bought a genuine jockey shirt (jockey silks) on ebay. Then I wore my breeches, hard hat, tall boots, and I carried my crop around. I was under 5'0, so it was also effective ;) I'm pretty sure I "cantered" around, too. Yea, I'm sure I cantered. Haha!

    Have a super fun roadtrip!

  18. oooooh candy :-) I was once a picnic blanket. Yup. A huge square checkered blanket with plastic dishes, food, and ants glued on.

  19. I think the best was one that my mom came up with when I was little. I was snow white, and my little sister was Dopey. I still hold that over her to this day :)

  21. Yeah, one year I dressed up as a candy corn. Why? Oh, I may just have a slight (only slight) obsession with candy corn. Their shape, color, taste, all of the above, they're just that good!

    :)

  26. BEST Halloween costume of all time for me, Edward Scissor Hands!! I was in third grade and he was all I wanted to be. My mom painted my face slightly white, and we made scars for my face. Then we made the scissors with cardboard and foil, and I dressed in all black with a black wig. It was GREAT!

  29. My best halloween costume ever? Wow this is a tough one...I'm going to have to go with this sweet costume (well it was when I was 10 or whatever) that my mom made for me that was dalmatian print - it was a full body furry suit (which is kind of creepy now that I think about it but whatevs) So I was pretty much one of the 101 Dalmatians...pretty bad a$$ I know haha!

  54. Oh gosh.. my "best" halloween costume - maybe not. But definitely most creative. One year my neighbor and I were the coca cola white polar bears.. and we made our costumes. When we went trick or treating we got guesses from albino squirrels, to bunny rabbits, but nothing even close to the bears!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I'd have to go with the first costume I've made totally myself... mario! Ok, not terribly cool, but I was darn proud of myself.

ps...protein oats are seriously the best new way to eat my oats, perfect to take to the hospital!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hmm my best costume--probably going to be this year. I'm gonna be some kind of chef! :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Oh gosh, I only dressed up for Halloween like 3 times in my life. Haha, I was always too shy to knock on doors and ask for candy, so I only went when my brothers were with me. Considering they are both quite a bit older than me, I never had much of a chance to trick or treat. Now that I've completely outgrown my whole "shy" phase, I'm totally missing my years of getting candy!
I have to admit that I did look pretty darn cute when I was about 4 years old and wore a green dinosaur costume. I even had gloves that my mom sewed felt "nails" on.
