How Bout Them Apples.

Well I'm back from my road trip with Deej and I'm so glad to see that you're all super excited about being stranded on an island with Nature's Path.

P.S. you still have until Tuesday to enter!

Not so P.S. because there's still an entire post to go.

So to save you the utter excruciatingly long post that would come from every single detail from the road trip. I can pretty much sum it up with few words and many pictures.

Because when the weather looks like this

There's nothing else to do but this..

obviously create a snack table out of your glove compartment shelf.

And find reasons to consume entire jars of salsa..

And obviously stop to refuel the car with gas and liquid stimulation.

many times.
And when the car ride gets boring always pass the time by stopping to buy farmers market homemade veggie chips

I can't think of any better way to eat a carrot..

....and then eat your weight in grapes. And when you and Deej need time to kill, of course take an hour detour in search of the infamous veggie chips farm and honey crisp apples.

no mas on the veggie chips but we did find apples the size of basketballs!
And then end the night on Saturday night Miss Sass-A-Frass style with sushi at 11PM.

Even though I was one salty creature last night (meaning attitude not soy sauce) I knew I wanted to get up and take spin this morning. After sitting for approximately 2 days straight I was not having another non active day.

I crawled out of bed this morning with my joints as tight as Mark Sanchez's game and hit up spin.

I was a struuggg-A-lin. And all I could think about the entire class was my hugh jass honey waiting for me at home.

Honeycrisp kids. get your mind outta the gutters.

it was like the Great Wall of Apples schmeared with some PB2 drizzle. holy yum the apple went on for days.

The theme of the rest of the day was do school work and find distractions.

Today's distractions included:
  • My sister being home.
  • Project Runway on my dvr
  • lunch
  • the Jets game obvi.
  • Mark Sanchez enjoying a hotdog mid-game.
  • Deej
  • Deej making dinner.
  • Me eating dinner.
shrimpies & chili wrapped in lettuce wraps.
  • you guys.
  • apples
  • you guys.
  • and finally new york sports (Yankees & Giants...what to watch what to watch..)
Alright I'm just realizing that this post took way too long to type which means it's 99% boring and too long for you to read.

IF you've made it this far. Well I love you.

If not. I still love you but you'll never know.

Time to watch the Yankees I mean study.

  3. Eeww, sorry the weather was so nasty. I hate driving in the rain!

Homemade veggie chips sound absolutely amazing. And those apples are huge!!

Blogging is always such a distraction for me, too. It's so hard to balance reading blogs with doing actual work, teehee.

When Nick and I drove to NYC from Columbus, Ohio, we stopped at Starbucks at least 5 times. PAthetic.
