sleep through spin. …or don’t…

i’m so glad you liked my 2010 (i just typed 2009) “no-so-marriage-vows” i worked really hard on them and would have been devastated if you thought they were no mas. you’re too good to me.

last night the besties and i got together for a little belated christmas celebration. also known as gossip, vent and a little exchangage of gifts. i love them both and am happy to report that my sugar cookie smelling skin will be forever drinking starbucks via and eating gluten free cookies.

before i left i threw back a wittle of dis and a wittle of dat for suppah.

sweet potato drenched in fage 2%+cinnamon en somee steamed veggies mixed with laughing cow & mustard. i know you weird julie but it tastes so good when it hits the lips.

(by the way i just typed “potatoe” and i’m so glad i’m not the only one out there who will not qualify for next year’s national spelling bee)

i really just wanted to use my new bowl. santa made a stop at marshalls home section before visiting my house

and then off to xmas i went! it was so good to hang with my lovers but i didn’t get home until 11PM and my alarm was set for 5AM.

and so 6AM spin mixed in with the inability to fall asleep thus stationary biking on about 4 hours of sleep may or may not have been the greatest worst idea ever. i looked like the bride of Frankenstein trying to leave her husband on a stationary bike.

not to mention i felt like death. way to go ra-tard. and then my weaksauce body attempted to lift some weights.

circuit (3 times through)

  • incline chest press 30lb barbell (3 sets 12)
  • tricep pushback pulse (i just made that name up) 30lb barbell (3 sets 12)
  • tricep standing skullcrusher 10lb weight (3 sets 15)

cable crossover 30lbs (3 sets 12)

vrope pushdown 30lbs & 35lbs (3 sets 12)

mts chest press machine 25lbs, 30lbs, 35lbs, 25lbs (3 sets 12)

stretch foreva.

and then i came home and made this…

i lied.

and then i came home and did what anybody would do. or not.

i. went. back. to. bed. ultimate fail.

actually i attempted to go back to sleep and just ended up laying in the warmth of my bed for about 45 minutes. and when my stomach yelled at me i ignored and continued laying and laying. until finally i gained the energy to turn on the stove.

1/3c oatbran, 1 2/3c water, 1/4c canned pumpkin, cinnamon, stevia & nunaturals vanilla, 1/2 banana, 1/4c egg beaters & 1tbsp naturally maaaw.

…but really i just fell asleep in my breakfast.

maybe i should shower now? or is this just an excuse to sleep..

for the record i’m currently using windows live writer on my sister’s computer and i’m wondering why in the world i hadn’t used this before. finding this and putting it on my computer is tres tres tres neccessaire.

blogging just got about 96% easier.

i can’t wait to hit my 2PM wall. any volunteers to bring me some cawfee..

no? fine. we’re still friends.

there’s also a very good possibility that in reality i’m still sleeping and this is all a dream.

i was so rude yesterday and didn’t ask you what your 2010 not-so-marriage-vows are! so share them now.

…another one of mine should be “don’t try and be funny on 4 hours of sleep.”

I forever go back to bed and miss the important parts of life. Then I can't sleep when it is time to sleep. Like an owl, I am. Have the rings under my eyes to prove it.

But anyway, you did not miss the important parts of life, as you are not me. You made SPIN and BREAKFAST. And I am impressed.

sleep is SO impt!! if I have a late night I like to sleep in a little then wae up and have a BANGING workout when I feel rested! yay for making spin, I am SUPER impressed :)

hopefully you feel MUCH more rested today!!

I like your little vows! And I tried Windows Live Writer once but I couldn't get it to schedule a post. I got frustrated, heh. If I didn't have Internet one day, though, for whatever reason, I would totally use it again.

Way to power through your holiday break! I hate feeling like I miss out on my day by sleeping in, so I'm usally up and at 'em pretty early, whether I have plans or not. However, I know that this isn't the norm. Case in point - my two older brother sleep until 4pm EVERY SINGLE DAY on Christmas break. Crazy!

I have never even heard of windows live writter. I guess I should check this out if it makes it easier to post. At least if you had to be tired at spin it was for a good cause. Sounds like you had a nice time out.

Windows Live writer??? I wonder if that would work with my Mac....I need to check that out!!
Julie, you are CRAZY for going to your spinning class on such little sleep! Of course, that means you are motivated..so good for you, I guess... :)


By the way, I will be accumulating my 30 ingredients as I go, although I already have a list of options. But yes, I will disclose the "list" as I go, and a final list at the end of the year! My list, as I have it now, will change I'm sure.
