Zee Bakeathon '09

hi friends :)

super snappy post right here because this little blogger has got to get her hands and knees deep in dough today!

and not to mention i still haven't cleaned my room yet. fail.

i "slept in" a little today and set my alarm for 6:15. that way i could get to the gym and get a good pre christmas eve and day session in to offset all the treats that will find their way into my mouth over the next 24 hours.

a good shoulders workout was on the menu today along with a little abs thrown in. so i served it up.

20minutes ellipticizing

circuit 1: 3 times through
  • lever lat raise i used free weights instead (12 reps, 10lb free weights)
  • seated shoulder press (15 reps, 20lb bodybar)
  • crunches 25
  • reverse crunches 25
circuit 2: 3 times through
20minutes ellipticized hill climb.

and then it was home to devour my gloriously glorious premade breakfast.

oh how i love fage.

and oats.

and vanilla protein powder.

and apples.

you get the picture.

maybe santa will bring me new breakfast ideas?

i also love you.

and i'm here to mainly wish you a WONDERFUL holiday.

i hope you eat everything and fill your bellies with lots of love and lots of food.

happy christmas!!

what treats are you going to leave out for santa?
i'm thinking about leaving him either a bowl of creamy pumpkin oat bran or maybe a cottage cheese+broccoli slaw concoction?

Oh my gosh JULES, I have been eating overnight oats with apples EVERY morning now since…2 days ago (hahahah) and It’s so fun to make!! I mix it a little differently to Kaths though – I add a full container of vanilla greek yogurt with the oats and splash of almond milk. In the morning I nuke it for a full minute and it’s YUMMAH topped with peanut butter, jelly, and pomegranate arils!. :) I hope you have the BEST rockin' christmas ever Julie pie!!!

Santa...well, he's probably gonna get a bowl of mint choc chip ice cream with cool whip from the store. Then after he gets done leaving the presents out for Skylar, maybe I can score a backrub or a foot massage off him LOL

Merry Christmas Julie, you're an amazing friend, I hope you have a glorious holiday!!!!!!!!
