back to school to prove to dad that i’m not a fool

helllo lovaz (sex and the city anyone?)

sex and the city is like my all time favorite show in life. i actually started watching it with deej (yes my mom) way back in the day. and we were satc-aholics. i truly believe that anything you need to learn or know in life you can learn in the six seasons. not including the movie. don’t ask my opinion on that.

moving on.

you’re right. $87 bucks for finger printing is ridonk but i guess that’s the going rate around these parts to certify that you’re not a loon.

after emptying my wallet yesterday my poor booty did not order anything on netrition.com but instead made some lunchies. when in doubt eat, right?

P1273026 i know this veggie lineup resembles some country’s flag. i just can’t put my finger on it. anyone?

P1273027what i do know?  that cottage cheese, cannellini beans & hidden valley ranch seasoning make the perfect combo.

and who needs a tanning bed when you’ve got carrots & pumpkin as daily cast members in your life..

i spent the day doing my errands and mentally preparing myself to get back into school mode.

gross.

snacks to ease the pain

P1273029 P1273030

i also did my weekly research on what food stores had greek yogurt on sale. $1 a pop for brown cow at king kullen if anyone’s curious..

eventually it was time for dinner before heading out to work.

when in doubt use leftovers no?

P1273031 you can’t really tell what in the world this is now can you? so please allow me to do some esplainin.

i simply sauteed up a buttload of broccoli slaw, some red & green peppers, spinach, 1/2c cannellini beans, & a seriously good amount of leftover tilapia in a pan with about 2 tablespoons of homemade red sauce and a teeny bit of water. then i just emptied it in a bowl, threw some laughing cow on top and a little drizzleage of tjs goddess.

it was um…interesting? let’s just say it did the job. didn’t hate it and it was fast, easy and hey in my book anything that involves tilapia and laughing cow is a winner.

when i got to work i sadly had to break up with many of my clients. i love them! well some. and was happy when some of them were able to stay for saturdays. saturdays will be the only day that i’ll keep clients. mon, wed & fri i’ll be interning and tues/thurs i’ll be at school.

holy buzyiness.

popcorn was consumed when i got home and shortly there after i attempted to hit they haysackle.

i had a fight with my alarm this morning but eventually made it up and at ‘em to hit the gym

20 minutes stair mill + shoulders & abs

cross body raises 15 reps 6lb free weights
lateral shoulder flys 30 seconds 5lb free weights
  • barbell upright row 3 sets 12 (30lb barbell)

10 minutes stair mill

this post is boring. stop reading for your own good.

as soon as i got home i whipped up a little new breakfast combo. no waiting. i hit the pan hard even with my coat on.

warm yogurt oats have been an inspiration via janEtha ;) so i decided to dabble today

P1273032 P1273033

in the bowl went: 1/2c oats cooked in 1c water with cinnamon&stevia, 1 container plain oikos, 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder & 2tbsp goji berries

i found the little goji berries hiding in my cabinet. woo hoo for surprises!

looks like an ice cream sundae no?

holy cow this post was boring. sorry. ::thumbs way down::

alright kidz. it’s back to schooool for moi. time to get on the griiind.

until tomorrow ;)

do you have a tv show that you believe you can learn all life’s important lessons from?

I love love love SATC! You are right. Everything you ever need to know about anything is contained in that show.

For a while I was eating so much winter squash, I was pretty sure I was going to turn orange. Alas, it didn't happen. That would be a cool Halloween trick though. And would save me money. If i tanned at all. But I prefer to be skin cancer-less.

SATC has some good lessons for sure. I've learned some great things about being female just from watching The Bachelor.

Here's a few:
1. Never live with more than 4 women at one time.
2. If a girl or group of girls decides they hate you, there is nothing you can do. Nothing.
3. When women say they want to get married, they might be lying.

Just sayin'!

I'm not a big SATC girl! I know. I should stop being a girl right now.

You can learn all of life's lessons from SBTB or Full House. ;)

They sell those goji berries all over China and that was the one I was most interested in while I was there. But I don't think I can find them in the Azores.

I never watched Sex and the City when it was on tv, but I've seen every episode via DVD or TBS! And yes, I LOVE it! My favorite all time show is Seinfeld. I watch it at least once a day (yikes) and I bet I could win a million dollars on Millionaire if they had a special Seinfeld addition!

Yes, your oats and yogurt combination DOES look like ice cream, and I still don't believe you that it's not. LIAR! jk.

I had it done in San Diego in order to get my real estate license and they do the live scan prints where they send your prints off to the dept of justice and the fbi..and it was $250. give or take, but in the 'hood. talk about a ripOFF!
