Cupoladua Oven

hey guys!

first off thank you so much for all of your wonderfully kind words yesterday and today regarding my need to relax a little and just liiiive! let’s make a pact to do it together no? so say it with me now:

“i make a vow to take some time in my life to breathe and most importantly live

cool. now that we have that settled. originally i had planned to fill you in on my life for the past 24 hours but in perfect cohesion with yesterday’s decision i got called for an interview for an internship this afternoon at a local college which i’m oh-so excited and nervous about.

so with that i’ll leave you with a long overdue product review! (look at me get all rhymey on you.)

a few weeks ago the wonderful stephanie from cupoladua oven had sent the golean household some samples. perfectly in time for zee holidays!

PC132407

cupoladua oven is a small company that started with passion and a love for healthy appetites between a mother and her daughter.

there recipe for success?

1 mother + 1 daughter + 2 parts passion for baking + 2 parts “really healthy” appetites which ultimately makes lots of edible ideas and the determination to share them with others.

there recipe for their cupola cookies and clouds? well that will continue to remain a delicious mystery.

PC132406 cupola cookies are the perfect snack to enjoy with a cup of coffee, tea, wine, etc. they each flavor even comes with a recommended drink pairing!

PC112372

they are only 11 calories per cookie, gluten free, no refined sugar, no artificial preservatives, no oils or trans fats and an excellent source of protein

PC112376 the cookies come in 3 different flavors. chocolate cashew, espresso walnut & chai pistachio.

i really liked these bite sized treats. they reminded me of a little crunchier meringue and had a nice crunch but still a melt in your mouth type feeling. i definitely likes the chocolate cashew better then the chai pistachio because the chocolate cashew had a little more crunch and nuttier flavor and even had pieces of walnut in the center. i’m not too much a fan of chai to begin with so i wish there was more of a pistachio flavor in the chai pistachio cookies.

PC162444

cupola clouds are miniature crunchy bite sized treats made with the finest cheeses.

they are only 4 calories per piece and contain the same health benefits as the cupola cookies do.

PC112377

the cupola clouds come in two different cheese flavors: smoked gouda & parmesan pink. i had honestly never tasted gouda before so i had no idea what to expect when popping one in my mouth. it definitely had a strong cheese flavor and i could imagine these paring perfectly as a snack with wine. i’m not a cheese lover but i’m pretty sure if i was then these would be right up my alley.

all in all i was really happy to give cupoladua oven products a whirl. i think they’re a great idea if you’re in the market for light treats to put out for guests and pair them with wine. i would definitely recommend giving them a try (click here to find out where you can purchase them) and if you’re interested in learning more about the company and their products head on over to their website and check ‘em out! you can also check out their blog or become a fan of theirs on facebook! thanks again stephanie for letting me give cupoladua oven a try!

alright lovelies i’m off to get my groove on for zee interview! wish me luck ;)
