happy days!

hey guys! thanks for all the comments on my hur yesterday. i seriously have no shame in posting grossticity pictures of myself sans makeup or dignity. deej would be so proud to call me her own.

biznass first. a couple of you had a few questions yesterday and i’ll address them like..now!

where did i get the popcorn seasoning? well. a long time back in 2009 the wonderful people from kernel seasons sent me a trial package. you can find my review here. BUT you can order them easy-peazy on their website and i have seen a few flavors in walmart here and there. i definitely recommend checking out their flavors and giving a few a try. they have lasted me for-ev-er.

is the keratin treatment expensive? well. i was lucky and my hair salon was having a tuesday special on it and it cost me a whopping $180 because i have long hair. but normally at other salons it costs somewhere in the mid to upper $200s. no i’m not a baller. i’m poor and yes i realize this is a splurge but it lasts 6-7 months and if you stress about your time consumption for hair then i recommend it. plus the more and longer you get it the less you have to get the treatment.

hope these answers helped!

on a fun note i received this oh-so cool award from naomi the other day which was super sweet of this gawjuss fit foodie ;) thanks girl!

happy-101 zee rules are as followed:

1. list 10 things that make you happy.

2. try and do atleast one of them everyday

3. tag 10 bloggers who brighten your day!

mmm 10 things that make me happy..

1. the wedding central tv station. i seriously love seeing people who are in love. never been in it. but i love all things wedding! it’s a weird thing i know. but i could watch we tv and the wedding station for hours and hours.

2. hugs. seriously in life i don’t think there’s anything better then a good bear hug!

3. pedicures. i lied maybe a seriously good pedicure ranks slightly above a good hearty bear hug.the pedicure must come complete with intense rolling chair massage and the water must be scoldering hot.

4. big crispy apples fresh crisp apples sprinkled with cinnamon. yum.

5. speaking of apples being from new yawk. i am always so proud to embrace my new yorkness. i have an accent, i can’t stand when move slow, and i’m someone who gets angry and the people who spend more time looking up then walking straight. i can’t help it!

6. uh hello? popcorn. air popped popcorn with cinnamon in all its carby gloriousness could possibly be the most underrated snack know or not known to mankind.

7. chivalry. i know this girl would agree with me but come on ladies chivalry is not dead! and come on men! open doors, ask girls out and do the whole shibang :)

8. a great pair of boots. my family owns a shoe store so i value the awesomeness that comes with a solid pair of boots. i have probably way to many boots then a girl should have and i won’t lie that most of them aren’t from the pop’s store. :-/ but boots oh yeah they make an outfit and they’re probably the only good part about winter!

9. when your ipod reads your mind. seriously i think it’s the most amazingly cool thing when your ipod knows exactly what mood your in. come on you know you love it too.

10. blackberry messenger smiley faces. i think i use them too much. my favorite is the hug one and the “talk to the hand one” i also overuse the “thumbs up” and “thumbs down.” by the way bbm is the only way people should be allowed to communicate.

Aww thanks for the award!! Now I just have to remember to post it! haha.

And I'm poor too but somehow I manage to spend tons of money on protein powders. Hey we all got our priorities right?? ;)

And I've been wanting to make that chili for like a year now! Is it good?

owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww thanks for the awardness- you are so sweet <3! I could agree with you more on #2 and 4! In fact, I just had a massive apple and it was awesome :). Love the new glasses. I had a scooper dinner in honor of you last night. I mixed up a massive amount of pinto beans with salsa and seasoning and ate it with a broiled tortilla and tons of veggies. So good.
Things that have made me happy lately- Josh!, Frank!, Starbucks, the color yellow, and packed group fitness classes

Thanks for the award!!! You're too kind. I'll admit, I'm bad about posting awards, just a heads up....but I TRULY appreciate it, and I'm glad I put a smile on your face :) You always put one on mine too because your blog is TOTALLY you, and nothing else. You are hilarious and open and you tell it like it is, I love it.

I didn't know your parents owned a shoe shop. Very cool!! I bet you have some awesome shoes, or am I just making assumptions?? I mean, my dad is an accountant and works with money, but a lot of money is not something we necessarily have!

I love extra crisp, and juicy apples too. And one thing that has made me happy lately, hmm...I guess the snow!! It's falling fast right now and I LOOOOVE it!

That oat bran looks delish. Why do I never make the oat bran that i really do have in my house? Oh, well.

I know what you mean about the ipod reading your mind. I was once emailing about a cd promo for someone and my ipod was set to random and of course one of his songs came on. Always happens just when you want to hear it.
