it’s never to late for conclusions friday.

hey party people! lookie here. i wasn’t even going to post today. it’s just been well ya know one of those days. and then i decided about 6 minutes ago that i’d really really like to get conclusions friday up. you make me accountable..

yes. you.

so with extreme reluctancy i’ll give you my dreaded dreaded dreaded friday conclusions..

1. when you wake up at the buttcrack of dawn and then one day you don’t ::cough today cough:: your day automatically feels like it’s half way over. no?

2. sushi makes the world go round

P1212922 P1212924

P1212925 P1212927

3. …even if it’s made with imitation crab meat and vegetables..

4. i think i’ll start selling books on amazon for a living. i’ve sold three in 24hours.

5. layering clothes is smart. layering breakfast? even smarter.

P1212928 P1212931

bottom layer: pumpkin cake. layer two: creamy oatbran. layer 3: pb2 puddle. layer 4: sliced banana. layer 5: creamy oatbran. layer 6: pb2 puddle. layer 7: drool.

6. this next picture will make you drool.

7. using the gym you work at can also be a good place for a stellar legs workout.

20 minutes elliptical (2 1/2 minute intervals of sprint run (level 6) & climb (level 12); 5 minutes forward, 5 minutes backwards)

circuit 1 three times through

step up & shoulder press20 reps each leg8lb free weights (16lbs)
split squats15 reps each legbodyweight
lunge & twist12 reps each leg4lb medicine ball
donkey kicks15 reps each leg5lb free weight in leg

circuit 2 three times through

reverse lunge & leg lift15 reps each legbodyweight
stability ball side leg lift15 reps each legbodyweight
dumbbell squats15 reps12lb free weights

circuit 3 three times through

stability ball hamstring curl15 repsbodyweight
lying butt bridge (on heels with opposite leg in air)12 reps left, 12 reps together, 12 reps rightbodyweight
ab cycle with medicine ball in between legs16 regular crunches
16 full body crunches
16 leg pulses up
4lb medicine ball

10 minutes treadmill walk (4.2mph @ 5.0 incline)

8. donkey kicks are not just for donkeys.

9. running to the parking lot immediately after your workout and eating your lunch out of tinfoil in your car and watching the fed-ex man stare at you while you take creepy pictures of your sandwich and yourself is fun.

P1222935P1222936P1222934

roll up wrap stuffed with 1/4c cottage cheese mixed with salsa, broccoli slaw, red bell peppers, laughing cow & tjs creamy spicy hummus

10. spending 2 hours at a meeting you’re not really sure why you’re there and the meeting is not really for you but your boss asked if you could be there is not fun.

11. finally making it home after spending 5 hours at the place you work and only getting paid for 1 of them requires a snack.

P1222938 steamed broccoli slaw, broccoli & red bell peppers mixed with laughing cow & mustard. 3 egg white poof with franks hawt sawce.

12. frank is the only thing that’s hot in my life right now.

13. one snack is never enough.

P1222939 P1222940 P1222941

14. although i tried very hard, none of the above pictures look appropriate.

15. sprinting out the door to run errands with deej & jen means your total time spent at home for friday equals 30 minutes.

16. 30 minutes at home leaves no time for blogging.

17. 23 years of age and staying home on a friday night leaves plenty of time to have breakfast for dinner.

P1222942 P1222944

pumpkin protein pancakes

1/2c fage 0% + 1/2c canned pumpkin + 1/2 egg substitute + 1tbsp eas vanilla whey protein powder + ridiculous amounts of cinnamon, splenda & a dash of baking powder. blend, cook, let one crumble and enjoy. look gross taste not so gross.

allow yourself to indulge in a pb2 sauce, some carrot sticks & a side of steamed broccoli, eggplant and b sprouts if you feel so inclined add homemade sauce.

18. 23 years of age and staying at home on a friday night means frank’s hot sawce will continue to be the only thing hot in your life.

19. congratulations to moi it's my 300th post :)

20. the last thing i’ve concluded is that this conclusion friday should just not be posted.

what are your friday conclusions?

My conclusion - breakfast for dinner is the best kind of breakfast.

I love how you creeped out the fed ex man with self photos...imagine if he offered to take one for you?! hahah

I want to start selling Amazon books!! So it's easy?! I mean, it sounds like you're great at it! My boss thought of that idea a while ago and wants me to start compiling a list of books...

My Friday conclusion was that I'm TOO OLD to drink 6 beers in one night, and feel good the next day. Ugh. Seeing high school friends brings the party animal out! Not such a great idea...

haha love this.

oh..sorry about the SHMAMMERED tweets I sent you way last night! my goodness..

being 23 and staying home with the man on a friday night and drinking bout 4 goblets of red wine = 4 too many lol I'm too old for that crap!

That pb sure does make me drool!

Ha this was insanely funny. All of the randomness sounds exactly like my Friday.

Speaking from the POV of a 22/almost-23-year-old on a Friday night...who spent her Friday night in anatomy lab with a room full of cadavers...I'll take Frank and his hot sauce.

Sushi does way more than make the world go round. I'm pretty sure it makes the planets align as well.

I hear ya about the day seeming shorter when you sleep in! Yikes!

Sitting through crappy meetings is never fun, especially when they don't really apply to you.

Pancakes for supper rock.

Your post made me laugh. I hate long meetings, especially when they don't apply to me. I feel your pain.

And also about Friday night...I spent mine doing case studies on 3 oncology patients and writing a diet for a pt. with dry mouth. I'm so exciting.

Therese said...

Don't worry I still love you even if you stayed home on a Friday night. I guarantee it was still more exciting than mine. Just trust me...

WHERE ARE YOU BUYING YOUR PUMPKIN??? I can't find it in any of my gorcery stores :(
