it’s you know what friday..

ha. so for all the newbies out there hey now! come out from the closet! i love it when you do ;) weird julie. weird.

anyways every friday i’ve gotten into this thang where i call it “conclusions friday” it’s also known as a copout post so i don’t have to get all paragraphy. ya feel me..

i think this is my 4th or 5th conclusions friday. shall i continue on with the tradish?

1.combining two cheeses also known as laughing cow & cottage cheese is awesome. melting them is genius.

P1283035 roll out wrap, 1/4c cottage cheese, LC, mustard, 1/4 cado, 1 slice of turkey, broccoli slaw. grilled on a pan and melted to utter perfection

2. i love new york. hearing jay z’s “new york state of mind” on the radio every 4 seconds makes me not want to love it

3. sometimes when bars are on sale for a buck a piece it’s because they suck there’s a reason.

P1283036 pure protein strawberry shortcake: this bar was on sale for $1 at the foodstore so i picked it up. major mistake. it’s not strawberry shortcake. it’s more like strawberry jam smooshed into weird white crackly frosting. the nutrition stats weren’t so bad but about 2 hours after eating it i was hungry! it’s not good for bar breaking and should not be classified under the “cake” category. i’m mad i bought two. i would definitely not buy this bar again. well unless it was free..

4. i have an addition to buying things on netrition.com

5. carbs are amazing. especially when they’re consumed with cinnamon either before bed or before the gym.

6. i will never stop talking about my love for popcorn. and i will not apologize for it.

7. i feel dirty using the good girl/bag girl hip abductor machines at the gym especially in between sets when you’re just sitting there if you know what i mean..

30 minutes elliptical sesh (crossramp @ 8, 1 minute sprint, 1 minute steady pace, 2 minutes backwards, 1 minute climb, repeat 5 times. resistances @ 8, 9, 10, 11, 10)

80lbs 12 reps
80lbs 10 reps

circuit 2 3 times through

stability ball wall squats 15 reps 12lb free weights
stability ball butt bridge 25 reps 2lb medicine ball between legs
stability ball calf raises 15 reps bodyweight

8. it is not smart to wear shorts outside in below zero degree weather. nuff said about that.

9. post workout smoothies are delicious but guzzling them in under 30 seconds will cause horrid tummy aches.

12. clearly i have no shame with the pictures i post of myself on the internet this week. obviously this website is not used for dating purposes.

13. hot showers are essential after drinking ice cold shakes on ice cold days.

14. restocking the veggie crisper is one of the best feelings in the world. paying less then 11 bucks for all of these fiberous treats is the ultimate steal best feeling in the world.

Ick the only Pure Protein bar I ever had tasted like cardboard. Never again. And I will eat just about anything...

You may have answered this before but do you make your own popcorn? Like with the kernals and a paper bag or is it store bought?

I <3 conclusions Friday because it always make me giggle. Ugh- that strawberry shortcake protein bar sounds icky. I am TOTALLY jealous of all your produce and cannot wait to go food shopping tomorrow- hooray! My Friday conclusion- getting all of your to dos for the weekend MOSTLY done on Friday rocks and Frank is awesome ;)

OMG I hate the Pure Protein Strawberry Shortcake bar too. It is TERRIBLE. I had heard about it and wanted to try it really badly, I finally found one in the store. Took one bite and threw the rest of it away. So disappointing.

My first conclusion is that I LOVE conclusion Friday, you crack me up. I love the stach.

Another conclusion is that I stare at a computer screen way too much during the day. Also, after remembering my conclusion last week (having something to do with the fact that I want a drink on Friday) I have concluded that Fridays must mean I have to have a drink. Always. Yep, and here I go! Happy Hour here I come :)

hahah I love the good girl/bad girl hip abductors - so true!! Hmm conclusion I have come up with this week:
1. Eat during the day so I'm not ravishing in the afternoon/at night. Duhhh I knew this already, I just needed a little reminder ;-)

GIRL I could have told you about those pure protein bars! omg they are horrendous (well at least that flavor) I think the chocolate may not taste as bad, but honesly anything fruit and protein flavored is just NOT for me, I acutally returned a tub of strawberry protein powder taht legit almost made me vom. there is a reason for the buck! haha

I have come to realize that when there is a line in a dressing room at a clothing store, changing in the store in front of a big mirror happens! I also came to the conclusion on how much I love cottage cheese. it is just so fabulous I can eat a tub a day (no joke)

I used to work for the company that manufactures Pure Protein Bars. We would get to try all the new (and old) flavors. I have to admit, NONE of them tasted very good. Plus, they all contain maltitol which when ingested causes gas in most people. It was terrible. I remember having the worst gas pains in my life!!!

YES that is the BEST feeling when you re load. I reloaded today but it was $19. For a fam of 3. And that should get me til precisely Sunday afternoon :)

ok anyways, i learned that the "feels like" degree measurement on weather.com is more accurate than the actual temp...and i learned that you need xanthan gum (which you already knew)

good girl bad girl machine.. LOL!! It's so true though! Especially because I'm short so it's quite awkward.

And maybe I'm just crazy but Pure Protein bars are my favorite protein bars!! lol
