pumpkin cake oatbran do it up

good mawwwwnin & a happy tuesday to you all!

hope everyone has sort of got back into the swing of things with devacationizing yourselves. it’s hard! don’t i know it.

after i left you yesterday i completed nearly none of half of the things i had to do on my list of things that are pretty important to get done. one of them being get new contacts. i have no contacts left besides the pair that are in my eyes so i should probably get my butt over to the eye doc.

the cold weather is just so hibernating.

P1042715P1042720

so i pretended like there was a giant blizzard to go along with the temperature and kept myself inside and snacking until it was time for work.

work was tres bien except for the fact that working in a gym is not an ideal temperature unless you’re working out. no while i consider talking a type of workout it just wasn’t sufficient enough to warm my vampire like skin up.

eventually i busted out of there, sprinted to my car and put the heat on balaaaaaaaaaast.

i was a hungry beast when i got home and deej was doing her cool cat thang and wasn’t home, ergo i needed to throw something together fast.

P1042721 tjs low sodium bnutty soup and salida will do it up. i know i know bo-ring. but i made it just as fast as panera would.

P1042724 la ensalada consisted of: broccoli slaw, broccoli, & eggplant steamed up in the microwave. then i added in shroomies, green & yellow squash and 1/2c cannellini beans. 1/2c cottage cheese & my standard tjs garlic aioli mustard spread.

cannellini beans are fo sho my favorite. those big honkin suckas

phew! i made this just in time to watch jake 31 choose from a massively large amount of silicon & botoxed babes. thank the lord i didn’t sign up for this season!

P1042725it was clear that abc reality tv and lipton sure had it right last night.

look for me on the next episode of conveyer belt..

this morning my alarm went off and for some reason i just decided to ignore it. go me. so about 30 minutes later i woke up and realized i was a half hour behind schedule. no panic there. its fine i have nothing to do today except get my hair did.

…oh the sad life i live.

i jetted to the gym for a good cardio+abs sesh

30 minute stairmaster routine.

minutes

level

direction

0-2 5 face forward
3-5 7 face forward skip every other stair (large steps)
5-6 9 face forward
6-6:30 9 step left side
6:30-7 9 face forward
7-7:30 9 step right side
7:30-8 9 face forward
8-9:00 12 face forward
9-10:00 8 face forward
10-24:00   repeat minutes (5-10)
24-26:00 9 face forward
26-28 11 face forward
28-30:00 13 face forward

i’m too scared to go backwards yet! help eek!

i was a schweaty mess after this and finished off the cardio with 20 minutes of hills on the elliptical and then 15 minutes of six pack sculptage.

gotta get ready for next season’s bachelor.

yesterday kath inspired me to utilize the pumpkin in my oat bran a new way. and so thus i did today.

check it. it was the best bowl i’ve had to date. hands dizown.

P1042727 i tried to work my photography skillz but basically this is what it was.

pumpkin cake oatbran. aka heaven in a bowl

1/3c oatbran + 1 2/3c water, 1/2 frozen bananer, cinnamon, ppie spice, vanilla extract & stevia & cooked up with 1/4c egg beaters stirred in at the end.

then i took 1/4c canned pumpkin and nuked it in the bottom of the bowl for about 1 1/2 minutes and poured zee cooked oatbran over it. with pb2 layers in the middle and then on top.

P1042735 P1042731

you see the pumpkin bits on the left! oh it was so good.

do it. you must. its the only way to get optimal pumpkinage taste in your bowl.

things i’ve got on my plate today:

  1. get my keratin on (which equals 4+ hours in the hair salon) gross.
  2. organize my itunes because my ipod can’t hold anymore. tear.
  3. order contacts? probably a good idea.
  4. organize my life my room something i’ve been trying to do since i came out of the womb for the past 3 weeks.
  5. watch the biggest loser. oh my life is so stressful right now.
  6. & creep creep and more creep on you of course

regardless this day deems to be a pretty hard hit to my wallet. is it me or are december and january very espensive months…

on a side note remember my wildwood review? ha. probably not. well anyways dustin from wildwood informed me that this months issue of vegetarian times magazine features a coupon for a free pastaslim product! pastaslim is a wheat free, gluten free pasta alternative that only has 25 calories per serving. so if you’re out and about and happen to see the issue pick it up! it’s totes worth the free product coup.

does your hair require a lot of maintenance? i’m a hair diva i won’t lie. i’ve been every color under the sun and currently i get the keratin to maintain my lion king like mane and also get it single process died to maintain a somewhat normal color. does that make me high maintenance..

what’s your favorite bean? mine is fo sho cannellini beans! and chickpeas come in a close second

catch ya later lovaz.

I love all beans but if I had to pick a favorite..oh gosh, maybe the pinto bean? Or black....or chickpea...or or ok. I can't pick one ;) Good luck with your to dos today.

Yeah I'll take some of your oats please. My hair does require a lot of maintenance. It is naturally wavy but will get very frizzy if I don't straighten it or something!

Oh WOWZERS! What a fantastic oatbran creation! I need to get me some pumpkin pie spice, and i'll be all set.

I just bought that TJs butternut squash (low sodium, yeah!) soup the other day. I've had it before, it's kind of bland, but great with extra spices!

Favorite bean: Black bean, or refried bean

My HAir: Yes, it requires a TON of maintenance. It;s curly and frizzy, and in the summer it's even worse.

As for your after workout shower, I suggest bringing a snack with you in the car so you can eat it on the way home! PAck it in the PM so you don't have to think about it in the AM, when you are half asleep ;)

I don't know if I could handle the stairmaster for that long. I would die trying that backwards.

The oatbran. Can you believe i never cook the stuff? I only do oats in the micro or soaked overnight/raw and never the OB. I love the step by step for us microwaving non stovetop dont wanna mess with it peeps.

Keratin on. Fun.
Organzing my itunes and pod...yes. Need to as well. Sigh. Such a huge task!

Omg that pumpkin oat bran sounds amazing!! I'm still too scared to add egg whites to my oats (since the texture either freaks me out or i love it....i just don't wanna risk it!! hahah), but the pumpkin pie spice and frozen naner must have made it!!!!

Keratin.....is that what makes it stay straight? I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair. I can have it done in less than 5 minutes!

Me loves chickpeas!!! :)
