the after the day of conclusions.

hey guys! this is a day late. life kicked my butt big time this week and i’m feeling it today in a major way. blah!

thanks for all of your sweet words about my puppy. he’s doing much better but we think he has some serious brain damage even possible doggie dementia (currently he finds little crevices and sticks his head in them and just stands there facing the wall yep you heard right). but he’s definitely making good progress everyday!

i’m trying to adapt to my new schedule with interning 20 hours (mon, wed & friday), school the other two days (tues & thurs), working at the gym on saturdays & then fitting in workouts and school work in all the time that’s leftover.

so here it is a day late my conclusion saturday friday!

1. i’m too young for gray hair. yes i found my first gray hair. that is not okay in my book. which means i’ll be taking out a loan to get my roots done pronto.

2. i could eat seaweed salad & brown rice veggie rolls every day for the rest of my life

P2043158 P2043159

3. kay’s naturals should be sold in bulk, in stores, near me.

P2043154P2063183 P2013104

4. chopsticks are the only utensil i really ever feel like using.

P2043162 …well that and my fingers..

5. adjusting my schedule is going to be very hard. and i’m trying very hard to maintain my cool while finding what works for me and getting everything i need to get done along with things that i want to get done.

6. i must have insane luck lately. winning giveaways that involve $50 gift cards to iherb & awesome bowls perfect for yoats in the same week makes me believe in the luck of the irish

P2043167 .

7. when pb2 goes out of stock and your order won’t be shipped for 3-6 weeks one must find other ways to make peanut butter poolz.

P2043168P2043164

8. my google reader is running faster then me this week. can you guys palease slow down with your posting!

9. proper use of certain gums make heaven in a cup.

P2053177 P2053179

10. sometimes good leg workouts have to come on saturday instead of friday due to traffic on the commute home and lack of motivation

30 minutes treadmill run (intervals of 5.5mph, 6.0mph & 6.5mph at a 2% incline)

  • leg press 4 sets
12 reps 50lbs
12 reps 60lbs
12 reps 70lbs
12 reps 80lbs
  • circuit 3 times through
step ups 10lb free weights 15 reps each leg
barbell squats 30lb barbell 15 reps
good mornings 30lb barbell 15 reps
  • sumo squat & leg raise 3 sets 15 (12lb bodybar)
  • stability ball hamstring curl 3 sets 15 (bodyweight)

11. leaving extra early for work to make sure you get there on time sometimes leaves you in the lonely cafeteria by yourself with an over priced cup of coffee and 45 extra unpaid minutes to spare.

P2043172

12. being 45 minutes early to work also means that i will be able to workout in the morning, shower & change at the gym and be able to make it to work on time, minus the over priced cup of coffee.

13. it also means that i must make this snappy so i can head out to trader joes to pick up the essentials for a week of planning ahead.

14. inhaling this colorful snack plate must happen before i do any of the above.

P2063181 P2063182

15. sometimes conclusion fridays have to come on saturdays when fridays don’t have enough hours in the day.

16. i’m being “un type A” and throwing in a number 16 to let you know that next week’s conclusions will be better.

what were your friday conclusions?

Oh Julie! I hope things get better. Schedule changes are so hard for me and it takes me a few weeks to establish a new routine. I am glad that your dog is doing better.

Girl. Life is clearly in 5th gear overdrive for you. I hope it slows down a bit. At least for you to have time to sit down and spend that $50 bucks :)

hugs honeyyyyyyyy! :)

It can't be a conclusion day if it's not Friday - that's just not right.

- Anon.

I totes laughed at #8! 16?! That's like listing a whole bunch of steps and ending it with step 9. Where's step 10?! Who would do that?!

Time management has definitely become a much-coveted and little-achieved skill in my life. In short, I totally understand.

Fridays, Saturdays - same thing. Pretty sure. Last time I checked.

Love seaweed salad. Absolutely love. And I could eat any kind of sushi every day for the rest of my life. With chopsticks. Or my hands. And be very happy.

hey lovie! Omg after the weekend my reader is up to like 300 its insane! I think i am more of a during the week poster so after two days, that shizz stacks up!

kays NEEDS to be sold in bulk and near me as well. I swear I am their best customer, I get in fear of running out so I just keep ordering more! and they have weekly specials so I am all over that :)

I requested you as a friend on FB so you best accept, K??

gray hair...nahhh I am sure it was just a blondie )

love you to the mooooon

Gray hairs, eh? Well Nick has had them since he was 20...I think they are sexy. I get some every once in a while but I just blame it on the sun....

I love using chopsticks too, and my fingers of course. I think I eat a lot slower with them, which is good for me.

My Friday conclusion was that I love to hate snow! I love to watch it fall, and I love the way it looks, but I HATE having to drive across town in it, in a Honda Civic. Yikes.

Hope your puppy continues to heal! Poor little guy. :-(

You are clearly more Asian than me with your chopstick use...I am so awful at using chopsticks.

Totally hear you on the schedule thing. My schedule changes every 2 wks with the change of rotations, and it is so frustrating. I get obsessed with to do lists and writing in my planner. Hang in there girlie!
