hi friends!
ugh. i feeeeel like it’s been forever. like seriously forever. the last time i posted was like what? monday? haha i’m sorry it’s really not that long but still! being a type a and not getting to post everyday is slightly annoying.
actually really annoying.
let me remind you about what today is and what the solution is to closing out a muchos stressful week.
normally you know i would include these shots in my conclusions friday post. but to be honest i just couldn’t wait to share my joy and rapture here.
hence why i posted three shots.
sushi overload? maybe. 2 rolls & seaweed salad plus a side of microwaved steam veggeez. i say there’s always room for sooosh and vegeeze in this belly
don’t worry. because i know when you hadn’t heard from me in 3 days you were terribly concerned as to what i had been up to and whether or not i was remembering to eat..
believe me.
i remembered to eat.
even if it meant en route. two one hands on the wheel. spoon in my mouth. sexsi oatmeal droppings on my work pants
1/3c oatbran cooked in 1 2/3c water, 1/4c egg beaters, refridgerated overnight, 1 plain chobani & 1/2 serving gnc cookies n cream whey
or eating an pumpkin protein omlette out of tinfoil on the train. with a side of ziplocked apple slices
perhaps a certain someone maybe so so daring as to eat garlicky smelly zuke chips on the train next to a good-looking fella. or snap shots of her egg white wrap in the library
4 jumbo egg whites scrambled with 1/2scoop biochem vanilla whey, cinnamon & almond extract. in a roll out wrap with 1 laughing cow wedge, spinach & cinnamon.
and no matter how smelly, how loud or how much nobody is not eating in class, i was always that girl to whip out her food and munch away when the tum starts talking.
roll out wrap, 2 slices lightlife oven roasted faux turkey, tjs cilantro & jalapeno hummus, tomatoes, summer squash, spinach, shroomies & 1/3c cottage cheese
well as you can see much of this week’s eats have been on the go.

i think i need a vacation
the only way i managed to squeeze a little vacation time was on tuesday morning when i made a tropical smoothie in a bowl and pretended like i was on a beach and there was 10 shots of joe cuervo and a sexy latin man was holding my straw.
2 scoops biochem vanilla whey, 1/2c frozen pineapple, baja bobs sugar free mango margarita packet, gumz, cinnamon, vanilla extract & stevia, on top of 1/3c cooked oat bran & 1 tbsp drizzled better n peanut butter.
i’m pretty sure this vacation in my mouth was better then an actual trip to the bahamas..
and all this lack of posting and blog reading got me to thinking about several things.
1. my google reader is going to hate me when i open it up on thursday night.
2. i can live without blogging everyday.
3. you guys will hopefully be here when i come back.
4. your days and mine will be okay if you don’t hear from me everyday.
5. i miss blogging when i don’t get to.
6. my gpa is not based on how many witty jokes i make about food and fitness a day.
7. i suck at economics.
8. number 7 has nothing to do with blogging but i just wanted you all to know that.
with that being said between interning & schooling & trying to be a good friend, while getting sleep and working out i can’t guarantee anymore that i’ll be here everyday at the same time and filling you in on what i’ve been shoving in my mouth. but i can promise i’ll continue to photograph, check out what you’ve been up to and post when i can. but i shouldn’t incorporate this into the stress in life because i blog for fun. it’s a hobby, not a job, or a business venture, or a school project. i don’t even know why i really do it. i just do and i love it and i never want to stop but that’s not realistic. i think i’m afraid that if i stop blogging that we won’t be friends anymore and i just think you guys are way too swanky to not “be in my life”
wow i’m blabbing right now. but you know what i mean?
so now it’s your turn.
you must promise me that even if i dissapear for days or weeks or hours at a time that we’ll still be friends, and that you’ll email me or comment twice and tell me about your life. buzz me. tweet me. love me. facebook me. send me love letters. you get the picture.
just promise we’ll be friends ;)
wow i have no idea what i just typed but i’m going to hit publish anyways. and then i’m going to massively overuse xanthum gum and protein powder.
conclusions friday will happen. sometime this weekend.

Your smoothie in a bowl is by far one of the most delicious ones I have seen yet! I must try thanks so much for the idea! I have the same problem with the whole busy schedule, it gets hard sometimes!

Ohhh Julie, you and I are so similar!! You are typing out your thoughts and I am shaking my head like, "yep, I've felt like that before!". Something about my own "Type A" personality makes me feel "bad" when I don't post for a couple days, or skip a day or two of reading someone's blog. It's strange when I really think about it, because it's sort of absurd! This is supposed to be a fun hobby, not a job that causes stress, you know? I have been SUPER busy lately, and I plan on taking a mini vacation from blogging(going to Philly anyway..) and I'm going to enjoy it, and then I'll enjoy blogging that much more when I come back.

I'm sorry the econ is being such poo (I'm pretty ineloquant at 10:30pm, excuse me). Glad your back booskie, I missed your sushi...I mean your bad self! Of course it's understandable that you took a break - we multi-tasking ladies gotta do what we gotta do! No shame in that!

Sounds like you do need a vacation. I hope you finish this week and can relax a little on the weekend. I know how it is to be so busy. I actually took today off and it felt good, until I realized I needed to write a 5 page paper for school, so I did and now I am back to relaxing. Talk about type a personality. Oh the joys. I need to try egg whites + PP scrambled. Yum. Yay for tropical smoothies- I had a tropical breakfast. Pina Colada style...all I need is rum. 6am too early to drink? Maybe. Never too early to start thinking about it though.
No such thing as too much sushi and veggies.
