today is friday! i kid. it’s thursday. but it’s friday for me! jealous? well you should be. hello 4 day weekend!
i started my day off on the right foot with a solid workout
20 minutes on the amt trainer + 20 minutes on the handle-less elliptical all while reading last month’s oxygen mag
my hrm hated me the entire time. then my ipod hated me with 4 minutes left.
chest & tris sans music is very hard.
- smith machine bench press 3 sets 12 (35lbs)
- dumbbell snatches 3 sets 15 (15lb dumbbell)
- cable chest flys 3 sets 12 (20lbs each side)
- single arm tricep pressdown 3 sets 10 (20lbs)
- overhead vrope tricep presses 3 sets 12 (40lbs)
- free weight pectoral press 3 sets 12 (15lb free weights)
now here’s the thing. i like eating my breakfast when i get to the office at 9. but i can’t wait 3 hours to eat from the point when i get home from working out until i get to work.
2 egg white puff with cinnamon, stevia & a drizzle of shoogs free/calorie free chocolate syrup.
i mean who doesn’t like starting the day off with chocolate syrup & a wallet and eco friendly homemade iced cawfs.
by the time i get to the office my tums is more then ready for
cookie dough breakfast
there’s just no possible way to make office eats look pretty. taste pretty? oh hell yeah.
in my ever-so
heavy handy dandy glass tupperware container:
- 1/3c wheat bran
- 1/4c trader joes toasted oat bran
- 1.5c decaf coffee
- cinnamon+stevia+vanilla extract
- 1/2tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 26g dymatize butter toffee cream protein powder
chilled & hardened to cookie dough over night & added in at the office 1tbsp jam & 1tsp smoooth op.
it’s a dang good thang we have a fridgerator scratch that kitchen at the office.
or else i wouldn’t be able to store this hubba hubba of a container
this baby is a beast. a beast. i get comments on the daily about the girth of my salad.
it’s all about the girth. right ladies?
the glass case was filled to the brim with greens & for added protein i sliced up a hard boiled egg, some low-salt deli turkey & a laughing cow wedge. drizzled some trader joe’s balsamic on top and used a toasted joseph’s pita as a
creepy girl in office with loud camera sounds. some day i’m going to get caught.
i knew what i was making for dinner um this morning?
shun me go ahead. tonight i passed on thursday sushi (hold the gasps) because i was in the mood for hawt food.
yet still in the mood to utilize some choppity sticks. …what to do… …what to do…
i’ve had a bottle of this in my pantry for several weeks now.
yer. i said it “several weeks now.”
on the menu? a mexicanos stir-fry!
simple. quick. & tasty wasty
i popped a mahi mahi loin in the broiler for about 7 minutes while i wilted a ridonculous amount of various veggies in a nonstick sprayed pan with garlic powder, chili powder & the juice of half a lime
when the fish was done a-cookin i sliced it up and patiently waited for my veggies to melt.
i threw the mahi mahi in the pan, along with some diced tomatoes and poured in about 1/3 cup of joe’s enchilada sauce
let the veggies absorb the spiciness, let it get all steamy. plated it in a large sized serving bowl fit for one hungry julie
& topped it off with a little s&p (salt n peppa) and a laughing cow wedge.
dinner is seeerrrrrrrrrved.
face rockin. this sawce is hot hot hot! it was a speecy spicay chopstickin fiesta in my mouth.
and i loved every minute of it.
i made sure to save room in my belly for some serious post party cool down time
protein ice cream. glorious just glorious.
i’ve got a night of so you think you can dance & bravo ahead of me! gym in the morning and matinee eclipse viewing tomorrow!

do you depend on music to get you through certain things like workouts or road trips or sleep? truth be told i depend alot on music to help set my mood! espeeecially at the gym! sometimes i find when i’m tired of my workout regime a hot new playlist or a new song makes it more fun!
