sorry i’ve been so mia! but things have just been jam packed as of late and i haven’t really had the time to post! i’ve been attempting to keep up with my google reader but it’s been getting a bit ahead of me. isn’t that what summer’s all about though?

i’m also wondering why on earth i’m from long island and have waited until the age of 24 to try smoked salmon aka lox for my first time ever..
my boss: “is that noodles in your salad?”
me: “nope! that is broccoli slaw”
my boss: ::very weird pondering look wondering what in the world broccoli slaw is::
some people just don’t understand.
it’s been kind of hot lately. no?
it’s a shame this was decaf this morning. (thank you very much little sister for drinking the remainder of the regular iced cawfs in the fridge.)
this decaf iced coffee. lead me to my very first experience with a shot of espresso this morning.
let’s just say i got alot of work done at work today
alot of work that lead me to eating half of my breakfast at 9. and the rest after a 2 hour meeting.
just imagine that bowl of overnight cookie dough oats perfectly smothered in smooth operator & sugar free strawbs jelly just sitting there while i’m in a two hour meeting.
such a shame.
if i were one of my office mates i would have eaten it. it’s a good thing people think my food is weird.
if you’re concerned about my omega-3 intake. puh-lease don’t be.
i’ve been eating enough fish to keep yours and my omegs levels steady for the rest of our lives
hawt weather calls for errrrythang in the kitchen sink salads
in the mix:
- roasted (on the barbs) broccoli, eggplant & brussel sprouts in nunaturals stevia
- grape tomatoes
- mushrooms, green peppers, & zuchinni
- roasted corn (on the barb)
- mahi mahi loin pan fried in veggie broth, onion & scallions
- goat cheese & balsamic,
just as hot as the sun. maybe more?
mahi mahi could be my new favorite fish!
is it jsut me or is corn not one of the ultimate summer foods. to me it’s like barbeque summer candy.
have no fear, i’ve been keeping up with my workouts! this week’s workout schedule looks like this:
monday: 5 mile track run (while i was out east)
tuesday: 35 minutes elliptical + back & biceps
wednesday: 50 minute spin + abs
thursday: 35 minutes stairmaster + lowerbody
friday: 40 minutes cardio + chest & tris
saturday: spin + shoulders & abs
sunday: rest day!
my go-to post workout refuel snack has been a 2 egg white puff with cinnamon & stevia, drizzled with calorie free chocolate syrup.
perfect to hold me over until i get to work!
shh don’t tell deej that i’m the one slowly ruining our bowls..
so as you can see i’ve been quite the bizz-e beaver!
