i digress. this morning after a kill-killah lower body workout i refreshed my belly and my muscles with a tasty bowl of faux protein deliciousness.
cookies & cream morning ice cream!
horrendous lighting but into the blender went:
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (tjs brand which is so smooth it’s redonk)
- 1 serving isopure cookies & cream protein powder
- 2T dry old fashioned oats
- a dash of cinnamon, stevia & unsweetened cocoa powder
- 8 ice cubes
- after i blended it up i stuck it in a mug, threw in 2T oat bran and let it sit in the freezer for a half hour
- & crushed end of the rice cake bag crumblies for topping!
got dressed, did my booty pop & smile and sat down to enjoy a bowl of frosty deliciousness
glunk! get dat booty in da air! i was proud to pop my boot-ay after i killed it this morning.
i warmed up with 10 minutes steady state biking to get the juices running through my legs.

|reverse lunges||55lbs (bar weight + 5lb weights on each side)||3x12 reps (each leg separately)|
|single leg dumbbell dead lifts||40lbs (20lb dumbbells)||3x12 reps each leg|
|weighted bench step-ups||20lb dumbbells||3x10 reps each leg (done separately)|
|barbell hang clean & press||45lbs||3x6 (i started with a dead lift into a hang clean & press)|
|weighted calf presses (standing)||95lbs (using olympic bar + added weight)||3x15 reps|
|leg press machine||180lbs||3x12|
|weighted butt bridges||45lbs||3x15 + 10 pulses per left leg & right leg|
done! then i walked on a 7.0% incline at 4mph for 10 minutes. outta dur!
after a booty pop and this workout my gluteus will most certainly be sore in the morning!
i forgot to brew some cafe au lait the night before, and was feelin’ a bit on the lazy side this morning, so thank the good lord above for the jewish holiday traffic-less commute which gave me plenty of time to put my $1 refills 7-11 cup to good use
it’s like the 7-11 gods know me or something, because they just started re-brewing the ‘heavenly blend’ there and it is my favorite blend of 7-11 cawfs. ::squeal of joy!::
i sizurped my way through breakfast round dos with an unpictured 3-minute moist protein muffin made with coconut flour and topped with coconut oil and worked worked worked my way through the morning.
i wasn’t really hungry at all for lunch but i figured it would be a good time to eat at some point, so out of boredom i grabbed my salad from the fridge, topped it with a turkey muffin, sunflower seeds, dijon deli mustard/balsamic & crunched some trader joe’s wasabi seaweed snacks on top
don’t you dare judge me on my messy desk.
sometimes when i’m lazy, i’ll grab a salad container from the food store and just keep it in the office fridge for those nights/days i don’t feel like chopping my own lettuce. today was one of those days and i quite enjoyed the arugula blend!
shh! don’t tell my boss that the seaweed snack crumbs on the carpet around me are from me!
the wasabi flavor is spicy and salty and i LOVE it. i’m still lickin’ my chops
i washed it all down with a delicious joisey peach & a mug of hot hot tea! it’s cold in my cubby hole today!

is anyone else thrilled it’s friday? only an hour left and i’m free for the weekend! then i’ve got 2 4-day work weeks coming up because a week from today one of my bestie’s is getting married, and the following monday is columbus day so our campus is closed. woot woot!
