it’s friday, it’s officially friday.
how many times have you heard someone say ‘dur it’s the last friday of the year’ har har actually that’s the first time i’ve heard that
and i’m secretly hoping i’m the first person who said it to you.
anyways. it’s friday! and it’s time to feature some of my favorites as of late
featured ingredient: EGGS!
i can’t get enough. not just the egg whites, the runny, juicy deliciously fabulous egg yolk.
i pine i burn i yearn for the yolk
i guess that would esplain why this week’s
featured recipe is…
my quick & easy lean fried rice bowl!
can’t get enough, don’t stop till you get enough
this time for an extra punch of protein i did 3 egg whites & 1 whole egg
delicious, quick & easy post workout mini meal!
speaking of workouts.
featured exercise of the week: walking barbell double lunges
i did these for my first time on tuesday’s leg day. and oh jesus mary & joseph i was sore for days after.
speaking of sore..
don’t be a sore loser because santa didn’t bring you a milk frother.
this weeks featured kitchen gadget: aerolatte steam free milk frother
i mean this baby brings healthy hot chocolate to the next level. it’s about to get legend…wait for it…DARY.
just you wait until milkshake season.
speaking of gadgets.
featured electronic of the week: amazon kindle original. that’s right people. the original
the heck with the fire, the bird, the 3g gigga whatzit super kalafradgilictic ones.
this original black & white click your way through the pages is making my relationship with the hunger games & peeta quite consuming.
i’ve never felt so in love with a book character in my life, and i’m considering shutting down my match.com account and running away with a fiction 18 year old boy
featured iphone app of the week: TED talks!
that’s right i got off my old school kindle high horse and returned to my iphone addicted self.
ever since i started reading again, i’ve been educating myself outside of reruns of the kardashians, and bravo shows. i mean andy cohen is on a week vacation so i’m trying to pack as much intelligent information into my brain before reality tv consumes my life again in january.
TED talks is a free radio app, which features insightful and short 15-20 minute podcasts of smart people talking about really cool things! i've been enjoying a few here and there at the office or on my way home from work
it’s free, so i definitely recommend giving it a whirl
speaking of listening.
featured workout jam of the week: cheryl cole; fight for this love
i really wish i could tell you about this other song that’s on my workout playlist. i have no idea what it’s called but on my ipod it’s called ‘track 10’
jack had this really amazing fist pumpin’ getting ready to stomp the yard playlist that he plays upstairs while he gets fresh. i can’t help but rock out too, so i asked him for the playlist and there’s no names to the songs they’re just ‘tracks’ but my whole family is obsessed and we refer to them as ‘oh track 8 is off the track’
but second the the nameless playlist comes cheryl cole. she gets me through 6 sets of squats.
featured artist of the week: kenny chesney
i can’t help it! i’ve been suckered into a country bumpkin, when i’m not listening to nameless tracks
plus i’m attending two country music concerts this spring, one is lady antebellum at radio city music hall and the other which james & his girlfriend gave jenna and me tickets to for christmas is kenny chesney & tim mcgraw.
and even though him and rene didn’t work out so well, i’ve got to freshen up on my country swag & pick out two yes that’s right two country music concert outfits.
featured pin of the week: happiness!
let’s do it.
love to love you <3
cawfee tawk! what are you featuring this week?
